Could you post a log of one of the maya-mr render sessions ?

    -n “Newfolder”

Read the log and find the answer ;)

Those are random crashes of the render engine. This happens and it’s a question for Autodesk…..Muster does its job telling you that there was a warning…. no clue :(

Exactly. But keep in mind this will work only with render engines that supports thread allocation. Otherwise , the only way is to spawn multiple instances. Processor affinity direct control is something we won’t support in the near future.

Well, this may cause some problems with the way Muster handled the “chunks”, so you should prepare different scene files, or use an automated submission tool inside Maya for this purpose.

    no unfortunately :(

be sure to add R to the Dispatcher drive mappings too. Or try to use UNC paths to see if it works.

Regarding achayan, we do not support jobs that render with renderLayers folders.

Is this job a Maya 2008 job ? This seems a common maya error for corrupted or wrong .mb files. Try to launch the same command from the command line, just to be sure…

    3rd July 2009 at 5:02 pm #14970

    No, it’s builtin defaulted to 2000 seconds…

    3rd July 2009 at 5:00 pm #14969

Are you using the latest Max template ? It seems an error that was present in an older version of Muster…

    3rd July 2009 at 4:56 pm #14968

No, i’m not aware of similar issues…will test this and let you know..

    3rd July 2009 at 4:54 pm #14967

Well, we are going to put log parsing overrides in Muster 6 so this is going to be configurable…about that maya error, you’ve a good techical background , and understand that we’re just spawning a render.exe process in the end….how can this be a Muster problem :)) ?

    3rd July 2009 at 4:51 pm #14966

    -oma flag in mrtool

Try to replicate the renderbull command line generated from Muster and test it this render successfully, maybe the problem is elsewhere, but you need at least a log to inspect..
