i’m getting the following error when rendering mental ray for maya jobs:

exit code 1 matches warning code 1

i have no idea what it means, an the error seems random. when it occurs, it kills the chunk outright and moves on to the next chunk. any ideas?

Could you post the log from the chunks ? (logs folder of the clients or open the realtime log)

thanks for the reply. here’s a snippet of the log when the error occurs. im wondering if its related to my scene and not muster, i’ve been trying to fix this for a few days now…

Seems a crash of the batch render. Have you tried to send a simplier job ?

I just had this happen, I changed the scene after muster started the render. So it wasn’t crashing anything, I think it was confused since some parameters had changed (I changed a render camera and enabled a different render layer in my scene and saved it while the first render was still going). After I changed the settings back to what they were when muster first started it it continued on just fine.

I get the same error but circumstances are different.
I start the render it outputs correctly more than 70% of the files then, it just stops with the previous mentioned error. The funny thing about it is that the beauty pass is always rendered completely but the Aocc and another one stops after rendering 60-70%.

Those are random crashes of the render engine. This happens and it’s a question for Autodesk…..Muster does its job telling you that there was a warning…. no clue :(
