Regarding to the freeze trouble I’d like to illustrate some of my test render. First, please pardon me for post the snapshot scenerio I’d made. It’d be more clear rather than typing words for explanation.
Make dispatcher soft restart made me get out of trouble. I wonder if the submited jobs appear to be red dots, should I make the soft restart everytime ?

After several Maya SW render test. I found that even render client that use autodesk maya 8.5 can render
alias maya 6.5 scene files . For Maya multi frame render could do the job well, even automatic requeue chunk still
work very well. However,I try to figure out why Slice assemble engine which could not assemble those already
render slice’s images that have been render by maya 6.5 scene. The slice render out with good quality. They are
ready to be assemble. Compare with the slices that render out by using Maya 8.5, They all are Identicle. even the
name prefix of the image. When it’s time for assemble slices, The Log pane reportreturn error: Cannot load slice file \10.1.73.103……………:Error opening source file.
But No assem trouble with 8.5 scene. So can somebody please enlight me a bit in order to have those slice images
automatic assembly regarding to some different version on Maya?Any help are greately appriciate

24th May 2007 at 4:30 am #14670They happen here too. I’ve been doing few maya render test. No trouble at the beginning. I could continue submiting many jobs. I notice that if there is any error happen once ( such as frame slices could not get assembly ), Next time ,I can no longer submit any job . The job pane get freeze. restart dispatch service won’t work,
