I am trying to render a scene at high resolution.It is 4000 x 3000 at 300ppi and at production quality settings.Raytracing is also used for there are glasses in the scene.I have to render it at high quality as I am going to upload it on a stock photography site.

My pc has 2gb ram and 1gb graphic card.
When I try to render, the render screen is blank and maya says:

“// Error: *Fatal* (mental ray) : mental ray encountered a fatal error. The system may have become unstable. Please save the scene and exit Maya.”

What could be the problem?If you have any method by which I can successfully render such a high resolution image, then kindly describe it in detail.Kindly note that I am a beginner.

So kindly explain me the method for rendering such an image, in detail.Please.
