Windows Firewall Settings

    Hi,

    New installation, Muster 5.31, all machines running XP SP2.

    I’ve been unable to find any information on correct firewall settings, and I’m not comfortable leaving all firewalls open. Muster did not configure Windows Firewall by itself.

    I’ve tried opening TCP ports 7680, 7681, 7683, 7690 and 7691, which should be the ports used by Muster. Still, it doesn’t work. The only thing that works is to turn off all firewalls.

    What are the recommended settings?

    Add the dispatcher.exe and renderclient.exe to the exceptions.

    Otherwise the ports are the ones you’ve already tried : 7680, 7681,7683,7690 and 7691.
