    Hello.

    My OS X render client has Maya 2008 installed, but Muster Explorer keeps telling me it’s looking for /Applications/Alias/Maya7.0/ etc. I’ve added

    ENABLED = 1
    MAYAEXECUTABLE = /Applications/Autodesk/maya2008/Maya.app/Contents/bin/Render
    MAYASTARTINGFOLDER = /Applications/Autodesk/maya2008/Maya.app/Contents/bin/

    to rc.conf, but it’s still looking for Maya 7.0.

    I’ve ‘rescanned local applications’ several time, where and how do I set the path?

    thnaks!

    Does anyone from Virtual Vertex ever respond to these forums, or are we wasting our time here?

    Try a direct contact with vvsupport@vvertex.com when you’re in urge with a question, the forum is not checked daily…
    Use the management console from a PC machine, just to be sure you configure it in the right way. Another way is using the autoscan feature in the services applet.

    About your config, you’ve to prepend the template id section like:

    [1]
    ENABLED = 1
    MAYAEXECUTABLE = /Applications/Autodesk/maya2008/Maya.app/Contents/bin/Render
    MAYASTARTINGFOLDER = /Applications/Autodesk/maya2008/Maya.app/Contents/bin/

    for the maya-sw template.
