Is it possible to get a template that will be able to read Maya’s renderlayer overrides, especillay those created on frame range. There have been serveral instaces where I have only needed a couple of frames from one renderlayer and the entire sequence from another. This is one of the most useful things in Maya and it only seems to work with Muster for about half the layer overrides that I set.

If VV could fix this it would improve my workflow a lot. Today I have to submit a lot of different jobs with the -rl flag… Feels like a lot of unnecessary work.

Well, Muster works using the “chunk” philosophy so every job is splitted in several chunks so I see nearly impossible to implement such kind of functionality. I suggest you to write a custom submission script using mrtool that creates a folder and put jobs inside following your pipeline. This is the easiest way to solve your problems.
