Software requirement on PC?

    Just a very simple question: What’s the software requirement on the ‘farm’ PC’s?
    Do I need to install Maya on every slaves?

    For each render engine you want to use, you need an installation of at least the render engine itself. For maya, you need the complete application, for after effects, in example, you have a “batch render only” installation. Also be sure to have them licensed, that’s free for certain while not free for others.
