pushing out new or changed templates

    I’m just getting started with Muster 6, and I’m having trouble finding documentation explaining how template editing works.

    When I do Edit Templates and make changes, the Confirm changes button turns off and the Update button turns on. It seems that I have to press Update, and then Confirm changes. I don’t understand what happens when I press Update, I’m guessing it’s just something I have to do.

    After I do Confirm changes, should I expect that the template will take effect right away, in all future renders? Do I have to do something to make the render machines pick up the new template?

    Hi Glad,

    After you push the template with the “confirm” buttons, its automatically updated on the connected clients. The update button is usefull if you want to “update” the template in-memory, then test it before confirming the changes to the Dispatcher.
