My .mb file have the textures path like P:abctexture123.jpg, this file directs to the \rendertextrueabctexture123.jpg. And all the render clients have a map drive called P:, all of these direct to \rendertexture.
And when I submit a job in Muster 4.5, the log pane report that the render clients unable to map drive P: to \rendertextrueabc, and the file can not be rendered.
What should I do to solve this problem? Thanks for everybody~!
we r using absolute path here, because we have the problem before.
i think this substitution function is for cross platform rendering only.
(according to the manual)
if ur mb file use p: and ur client has p: mapped, I think it’s ok to render. u needn’t do the substitution path setup. But make sure the account u used to start client service has p: mapped.
This may be due to a permission problem. Check that the user assigned to the service is able to map the drives and that the configuration of the drive mapping reflects exactly your paths.
Thanks for all~~!
I’ve solved the problem by use the Administrator account which have the rights to access the path.
