ISSUES WITH FORCE LOGOUT AS SHUTDOWN POLICY

    Hello!

Not sure if I’m understanding the operation/function of the ‘force logout’ shutdown policy because although the node does logout as configured (either by date/time or idle status), the user is unable to log back in. When entering a valid username/password, Windows starts to login and then immediately logs them out- a system restart is required to log back in.

All of our clients automatically login so I’d like to force a logout after 30 minutes of inactivity. Any suggestions on how best to configure my clients accordingly?

    Thanks,
    Dan

Just a follow-up on this for those that might have questions as well.

I misunderstood the function of the ‘force logout’ shutdown policy resulting in a misconfiguration of the client.

    Thanks!
    Dan
