does muster work with windows 7

    Shifting to windows 7 just wanted to know if anyone has tried using muster on it and does it work?

    I have tried Muster 5.5.6 on 64bit windows 7 rc1 and the client seems to work fine running Maya 2009.

    I cannot test logon-detection or the scheduling feature because those features has always been broken here (on xp and vista).

    We tested internally and there should be no fix needed in the final version. Bard, I’ve answered your post, coudl you give me more detail about your issue on vvsupport@vvertex.com ? I’m not aware of malfunctions in the timetable and the logon detection.

    Hello,
    I just did fresh install of windows 7 64-bit. Maya 2008 and Muster 5.5.8. When I tried to render simple scene with animation nothing is happening. I can see in Task Manager that render.exe and mayabatch.exe is started but they doing nothing. When I send same scene with command line maya start rendering with no problem. Could someone help me with this?
    I run under Administrator account.

    I confirm that both Muster 5.X and Muster 6.X are compatible with Windows7. Try to launch Muster as a console application and watch the results. If it works, maybe you need to setup something on the account assigned to Muster…
