The way our DFusion is set up is to look at one external computer as a FlexLM license manager (we call this computer render-manager); this computer serves our license files to each DFRnode.
In the Muster Management Console I set the Digital Fusion template to look at the “DFRnode.exe” (locally) and set the program directory. I submit a job in Muster and it just hangs and does nothing.
I VNC into our testing render node (render-002) and notice that Muster has spawned another copy of DFRnode.exe. Usually when you start / log in to Windows over our domain it will automatically start DFRnode and locate the licensing via out FlexLM licensing server. Now there are 2 versions of DFRnode.exe running and neither is actually rendering a job…
Could Muster control Fusion’s built in render manager and work as its controller?
Has anyone got Fusion 4..04E to work with Muster 5.11?
We actually certify Fusion 5+ only with Muster 5.X
