I’m not sure if this is a fix for your problem, but look at the slash directions. In the first Error: line, you have “/” in the UNC paths. In the second you have “”. If you’re using Windows they should all be ‘s. I would try this; run Muster Explorer and click on the Path button. Make sure that you have your paths configured properly. Good Luck!

If you experience the same issue in 4.5 and 5.12, the solution has to be found inside your network policies.

The user actually assigned to the Renderclient IS NOT able to access your shared resources. As you said, you’re working on a domain, it is possible that the default installer was not able to create a WORKING ACCOUNT. Check the “User permissions” section on the online manual or get in touch with vvsupport@vvertex.com.

    Regards.

Stop the renderclient service. Also skip the user account creation during the installation.
Create manually an user on the domain or on every host if you’re on a workgroup (assign the same password). Check the read/write policies of this user then:

Logon with this user and start the renderclient as a console application. If it still reports that kind of error, the problem is in the permissions. Double check your environment.

If it works, assign the user manually to the service using the Services control panel applet , then start it . It should work.
