Machines don’t show up in Explorer

    Hello,
I’ve installed the eval-version of Muster5.11 as services and using a domain user (Muster) with local admin priviliges. Machines show up in Manegement Console as “Connected” and I’m able to config them but when expanded, Status is “Unavailable” . No firewalls are active on local machines. No machines show up in the cpu list in Explorer (and not in pools or any other place either). I have some experience of seting up muster4.5 on a similar network and as far as I remember I’ve done everything the same way (expect this is the eval version).
    Any ideas?

    Regards
    Mattias

Are there any older versions of Muster running on ANY of your nodes? The Render Client Service may be looking for a server that no longer exists!

Uninstall all old versions of Muster and start fresh with 5.11

If you can intall (see my post in Installation)

    :S

there is older render client on several computer
because i just install muster 5 client two computer and muster server for test.

I find someting in the log, muster 5 trial only accept the 2 first client. even if it’s muster 4 client.
I think these is why when starting muster 5 explorer, we don’t see any client. the two client are muster 4 client.

can you confirm what i said ?

    EDIT :
i stop all muster 4 client and it doesn’t work anyway…
Muster 5 client can create folder and they all see folder but there is no workstation in the list

In the Render client management console muster 5 client are Connected and Service are Running but the status is Unavailable.
    I really don’t undestand

Start your renderclient services from the command line and be sure they are effectively connecting to the Dispatcher (from a dos prompt: renderclient -v 5)

Reasons may be multiple: A firewall or a wrong client version.
