    Hello,
    This is the same model we wish to develop, a dedicated resource for the following apps:

    3DS Max
    Lightwave
    Adobe Programs (that are supported)

    One central distribution server and 4 quad core xeon servers all connected via 1gbe or fibre to share balance the rendering across the farm.
    Would Muster not work in this way?

    “share balance” is a big word ;) Muster splits multiframe renderings across the farm, for your apps 3DS Max,LIghtwave and AFX, it’s perfect.
