What does this mean: Exit code 3 differs from expected code 0

And, is there anything that lists what all these exit codes mean?

    Hi Austinn,

I’ve been seeing the same error code with my 3DS Max jobs and have no idea what it refers to either. I’ll share my results with you if I do find out.

[MUSTER]Process terminated with the following exit code: 3

It seems to work when you only use 1 node to render but as soon as you use multiple this happens on the nodes until there is only 1 node left and it works.
    Very strange.

Check that the “-workPath” flag is passed to the command line. This will force Max to store the temporary files in a different location that the scene location. The issue comes from an XML file generated by Max on each startup. Multiple hosts try to generate the same file in the same location.
We are going nuts with Autodesk on this topic. They claim to have fixed this weird behavior on Max2010, but we still are experiencing issues in multi-instance mode.
