hope to get new features in the missing frames logic and chunk finish script

    I hope there will be some new features in the missing frames logic, say not only check missing frames, but u guys can also check for bad frames by the Foundry’s Optical Flow Tech ? like framefixer, maybe that can be used as a command line utility?

    I think it’ll be neat to have different actions if different events occur,It’s better to give the user the ability to define search strings in the render output, not only just “Warning” and “Error”, and muster should take different actions when it encounter different situations, say if the render output “contains an uncached hair system”, it should kill and pause all render and inform the submitter to check the cache files, or something like this.

    i’ve tried frantic films deadline, and a neat feature of that is like maya ,they have pre frame script/ post frame script / pre chunk script /post chunk script, they can use vbscript in these scripts, hope we can run shell script, or python script after rendering is complete…

    hope to see these new features in coming version 5.4

    We are working on python integration as well as pure C++ SDK. The improvements are scheduled for version 5 releases (maybe 5.4). This will off-course include pre-frame/post-frame/pre-chunk/post-chunk/pre-job/post-job scripts as well.
