Notificator reference
Muster Notificator is a small application that listens to Dispatcher service and pops up reporting several different events. It can even open an image viewer to display single frame renderings once they are available.
Muster Notificator runs in the taskbar or in the upper bar of the Finder on Mac OS X.
By right-clicking the Notificator icon in the task bar, you can access a pop-up menu that lets you configure the Notificator , acknowledge pending event, flag it as silent (no balloons popup) or close it.

This is an explanation of each parameter:
- Dispatcher address: This is the IP address or host name of the Dispatcher service.
- Notificator port: This is the port where the Dispatcher listens for notificators connections.
- Login: Your account login to the Dispatcher service. The notifications you'll get are based on the notifications configuration of your user
- Password: Your account password
- Skip directory server authentication: If you have Directory server enabled, you can login over the regular user database by activating this option
- Show bubble: Shows a bubble in the system tray (where supported) when a new notification is available
- Automatic acknowledge notifications when raising the application: Tells the notificator to automatically flag notifications has acknowledged when you raise the application
- Notifications filters: You can filter what kind of notifications you're interested in, consider that those notifications must be enabled also on the Dispatcher global settings and an user/group basis:
- Service activities: Notifications related to the Dispatcher service activities
- Job's start: Notifications sent when a job starts
- Chunk's start: Notifications sent when a chunk starts
- Job's complete with errors: Notifications sent when a job completes with errors
- Job's complete with warnings: Notifications sent when a job completes with warnings
- Job's complete with success: Notifications sent when a job completes with no errors and no warnings
- Chunk's complete with errors: Notifications sent when a chunk completes with errors
- Chunk's complete with warnings: Notifications sent when a chunk completes with warnings
- Chunk's complete with success: Notifications sent when a chunk completes with no errors and no warnings
- Sounds: You can configure Notificator to play sounds on certain events
- Image viewer mode: You can use the integrated image viewer or the external one configured on the field below
- Image viewer application: Defines an image viewer to view rendered frames
- Launch image viewer automatically: Automatically launch the image viewer when a job completes
