I've just downloaded Muster 6.0.8 for evalution on a Win XP64, I can get most templates to work, but renderclient.exe just stops working when it runs Softimage 2011 jobs. The renderer was found and configured automatically by Musters Installation. Anyone with the same problem?

Some software is licensed per-core. The more instances you run on one machine, the more licenses you need.

Some software is licensed per-machine. You can run as many instances as you want on a single machine with one license.

Which case can I use MAXIMUM_LICENSES for?

I've got some software that's licensed per-machine, and I want to make Muster count the machines using licenses rather than this instances using licenses when it figures out how many licenses are in use.

Thanks.

I'm trying to find a FULL list of all the Muster6.0 internal attributes that can be mapped in an engine template file.
I thought I had found them in the documentation, but now have come across "job_project" in the maya_sw template. It is not mentioned in the documentation.
Does anyone know of a complete list of these?

The "maya_mr_uid2.template" in muster 6 has a typo.

The "DECLARE ENGINE_MAC" section doesn't have a closing "}".
This stops the template from being supported on linux render nodes.

Force single frame packet (1 reply)

I am writing a terragen template. I would like to use musters multiframe option to distribute my rendering, but terragen's commandline renderer only supports single frame rendering.

Is there a way to force all jobs using a template to single frame packets?

The other option that I have is writing a .bat file that loops through the packet executing the commandline multiple times. I would like to avoid this as I would prefer to use the commandline renderer directly.

Any thoughts?
