The HOST ID is an unique number available on your host only. It should be located on the machine running the Dispatcher service and in most cases, it matches with the MAC address of the primary host network card.
You can find it using one of the following ways:

1. Connect to your Dispatcher service via Muster explorer then click on the Help menu and locate the Dispatcher Service Information item. Click it and the Dispatcher service host id will be shown in the dialog.
2. Run the Dispatcher service on the command line using the -lic flag
3. Use ipconfig (Windows) or ifconfig (UNIX) and check the MAC address of the primary physical network card.

Licenses are often generate between 24h from the time of the request during business days but it may take up to 72h depending on our schedules.

Movement of licenses between machines will require the payment of a fee, so be sure to choose the final server before requesting a license. If you're going to install Muster on a temporary server, send a mail to vvsupport@vvertex.com with your host id, we'll cut a temporary license until you're ready with the final machine.
